The Sembalun 7 Summits trekking package is a challenging trek program designed to climb the seven summits surrounding Sembalun Village. This program includes climbing the summits of Gunung Nanggi, Pergasingan Hill, Gunung Anak Dara, Gunung Sempana, Bao Ritip Hill, Gunung Gedong, and Gunung Kondo. It is suitable for individuals with a good level of fitness and requires a minimum of 7 days to complete the Sembalun 7 Summits trek.

Gunung Nanggi

 

1. Bukit Nanggi

Gunung Nanggi (also called Bukit Nangi) is a hidden-gem sunrise viewpoint in *Sembalun Bumbung, East Lombok — offering raw, crowd-free panoramas of **Mount Rinjani*, terraced valleys, and the Savana Hills.

Here’s everything you need to know:
Location: Sembalun Bumbung village.
Height: ~2030 MASL.

Experience:
Unspoiled wilderness – no commercial infrastructure.
Direct Rinjani views facing the volcano’s eastern slopes.
– Golden-hour “sea of clouds” over rice fields.
– Ideal for solitude and photography.


Pergasingan

 

2. Pergasingan Hill Trek

Pergasingan Hill (Bukit Pergasingan) in Sembalun, East Lombok, Indonesia, is a stunning sunrise viewpoint and popular hiking destination, often called the “Little Rinjani” due to its panoramic views of Mount Rinjani and the Sembalun Valley.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Breathtaking Views
Sunrise/Sunset: Famous for its golden-hour vistas over rolling hills, terraced fields, and Mount Rinjani (3,726 m) in the distance.
Sea of Clouds: On clear mornings, clouds blanket the valley below, creating a surreal landscape.
360-Degree Panorama: Sweeping views of Sembalun Valley, Savana Hill, and Lombok’s northern coast.

2. Accessibility
Trailhead: Starts near Sembalun Lawang village (easy to reach by motorbike/car).
Hike Difficulty: *Moderate* (2–3 hours ascent). Steep sections but no technical climbing. Fit beginners can manage.
Distance: ~4 km round trip; summit at *1,670 metres above sea level*.


Anak Dara

3. Gunung Anak Dara

Gunung Anak Dara 1923 MASL * (also called Bukit Anak Dara) is a striking, lesser-known peak in *Sembalun, East Lombok*, famed for its dramatic razorback ridges and panoramic views of Mount Rinjani. Unlike the popular Pergasingan, it offers a more rugged, adventurous trek.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. The “Virgin Mountain”:
– Named for its silhouette resembling a reclining woman (“anak dara” = virgin/maiden).
Knife-edge ridges: Steep, exposed trails with sheer drops on both sides (not for the faint-hearted!).

2. Views:
– 360° vistas of Mount Rinjani, Sembalun Valley, Savana Hills, and the Alas Strait.
– Epic sunrise/sunset with a sea of clouds in the valley.


Sempana

4. Gunung Sempana

If you want to see the vast expanse of savanna and enjoy hills that are similar to Teletubbies hills, then you should visit Savana Sempana.

The peak of Mount Sempana is one part of the Seventh Summit Sembalun on the island of Lombok. Mount Sempana has an altitude of 2300 metres above sea level.

The view that can be seen from the top of Sempana includes the expanse of Savana forest, the Sembalun Valley, and Mount Rinjani. In this place, we can also find many kinds of flora and fauna typical of Rinjani.

To reach the peak takes 3-4 hours for professional climbers and 5-6 hours for ordinary climbers. If you do a round trip hike on the same day, it will take 7-8 hours.


Bao Ritip

5. Bao Daya/Ritip

The peak of Bao Ritip or Bao Daya is one of the 7 peaks of Sembalun that must be conquered when you want to get a finisher certificate from the Seventh Summit committee.

The peak of Bao Ritip is to the east of Caldera Sembalun. To get to the same place takes 4 hours for professional climbers and 6-7 hours for ordinary climbers.

On the way to the top of Bao Ritip, it will give you a complete experience. Starting from passing through the savanna forest to the dense timber forest. Not only that, a variety of fauna and flora typical of Rinjani can also be seen. One of them is the Celetuk Rinjani bird, which can only be found in the Mount Rinjani delineate.


Gedong

6. Gunung Gedong

The peak of Gunung Gedong is at an altitude of 2100 masl. Start climbing from an altitude of 1500 masl. To reach the top, it takes 2-3 hours, and the total round trip time is normally 4-5 hours. From the top of Gedong, you can see the landscape of the Sembalun Valley and Mount Rinjani, which stands firmly.


Kondo

7. Gunung Kondo

Mount Kondo is one of the seven peaks included in the Sembalun Seven Summits and is located at an altitude of 1750 masl. Mount Kondo is included in the Mount Rinjani National Park area. The location is close to Savana Peropok, which is located in the East Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara.

From the top of Mount Kondo, we can enjoy the natural scenery of Lombok, which is truly enchanting. Starting from the view of the Peropok Savana, which is an old caldera. Mount Rinjani stands firmly on the west, with views of the sea on the south and east.

To reach the peak takes 3-4 hours, and to get home and go it takes 5-6 hours. The climb starts at 1025 metres above sea level. The track is relatively safe, but we recommend that you always focus and be careful when climbing.
